About the Author
Jennilyn grew up on a dairy Farm in Springville, Utah and was the fourth child of nine siblings. She has fond memories of her early childhood and recalls the joys of working and playing on the farm with her family. After chores were done, the farm became a place of imagination where Jennilyn and her siblings would make up adventure stories until the sun went down. Swimming in the moss filled pond and building forts in the hay as indians, racing across the round bales and digging in the cotton seed for treasures as explorers, jumping off the roof into the silage pit and even ice skating on the manure pit during the winters as olympians were just a few of her adventures. When Jennilyn wasn’t out on the farm she could often be found inside coloring pictures of rainbows, princesses, hearts, flowers and butterflies. She recalls how important her crayons were to her and remembers well that while her bedroom could get pretty messy, her crayons were always in perfect rainbow order. As Jennilyn grew older, playing on the farm and coloring was something she lost interest in and spending time with friends and creative dance became her passions. It wasn’t until taking several art classes in highschool that Jennilyn rediscovered her passion for coloring, this time not with crayons, but with colored pencils. Since that time, coloring has become again one of her favorite enjoyments and she especially loves coloring with her children. Jennilyn is a Yoga and Healing Meditation Instructor and is writing a book for women titled, “Love Heals All” Eight Steps to Emotional, Spiritual and Physical Healing. Jennilyn teaches these healing steps to women at workshops and seminars to help them find personal healing in their own life. Jennilyn enjoys mothering and was recently nominated as the AMI Utah County Chapter’s nominee for Utah Young Mother of the Year. Jennilyn is married to Jayson Jorgensen and they reside in Provo, Utah with their five beautiful children.
